SELF-SUPPORTED CAMPING TRIP IN SEA KAYAKS
Subject to weather, Port closures, and other fun factors intrinsic to “Adventure” tourism.

Day 0. Meet in Loreto for a pre-trip briefing and to fit your equipment.
Day 1. Taxi ride from your hotel to the launch. Practice the magic of making a big pile of gear disappear into kayaks. Bond with our kayaks and each other on the crossing to Danzante Island where we get to unload it all and go play! Afternoon games, drills and safety skills after a picnic lunch. Finish your first day on the island with a delicious dinner you wouldn’t believe could be cooked on a beach! Approx. 6 nautical miles.
Day 2. Wake up on a desert island! Sunrise accompanied with fresh coffee. Second course, a warm and nourishing breakfast, planned specifically for this trip by your guide. Circumnavigate this scenic wonderland today with a short nature hike along the way. Or kick back and enjoy snorkeling and some quiet time on the beach. 0-8nm.
Day 3. Depart Danzante island for the Sierra la Giganta coast, passing a few bird sanctuary islets along the way. Weave among the rocks along a fun coastline to a sweet little cove. Receive custom coaching on the things you want a little more help perfecting. 11nm
Day 4. Sip fresh-brewed hot coffee as the aroma of hot-cooked breakfast wakes up your appetite. Watch the sunrise over Isla Monserrate in the distance. Layover day to enjoy the area. There’s fine snorkeling, an extensive canyon hike, and a good place to practice rolling if you’re interested.
Day 5. After another breathtaking sunrise and delicious breakfast, we’re back in the boats. Pause at San Cosme, where you can find a salt-water hot spring when the tide is right. Perhaps scoot out to Isla San Cosme for lunch on the small island. Paddle on to San Fernando to camp in another cozy cove. 10-11nm.
Day 6. Paddle past the iconic Vela Rock of Agua Verde, our destination. Fish tacos and cold beverages on the beach. It’s been a marvelous journey! Return to Loreto via a marvel of Baja engineering—the Agua Verde road, the only one that dares to scale these mountains.
Day After. Relax in Loreto. Or fly out savoring delicious Baja memories and planning the next trip.
