Why We Paddle
From a garage in Loreto to the wild heart of Baja
Sea Kayak Baja didn’t start with a fleet of shiny kayaks. It started in a garage, with one well-loved boat and a big dream: to share the magic of paddling these waters. On one of our earliest trips, we guided a couple who had never camped before. They ended the week barefoot, sunburned, laughing, and already planning next year.
That’s when we knew — we were onto something.

After nearly a decade leading big-group “no experience needed” trips around Loreto, Ginni took a leap in 2007 and started Sea Kayak Baja Mexico to do things differently. Along with expert paddling, she loves sharing her knowledge of desert plants, marine life, geology, and the night sky — bringing Baja’s wild beauty to life for every guest.
